After many failed attempts to infiltrate the blogging world, I have, at last, penetrated the threshold in the form of LIFE THROUGH CELLOPHANE... now kudos for me on choosing such a delicious name, however I recently discovered, and by recently - I mean today, that this also happens to be the name of a book by Gillian Polack.
Dear beloved Gillian (I use your first name because I feel as though we are kindred spirits which have lost each other in time and in between time),
Please forgive me for choosing such an exquisite name for my blog, it regretfully had nothing to do with your masterful skills in the art of the english language, instead my influence was conceived at a gig I saw at the Carlton Club. The air was stale with cigarettes and alive with the feverish heart beats of a select few - A girlwoman (I believe a girl to be defined as no older than 16 and a woman as a female spinning into the threshold of 25 and above, thus a young woman is, in my eyes only 25/26) and never had I seen a more beautiful girlwoman than she. Her ordinary features erupted into an explosion of life - she was a goddess amongst ordinary thieves fervently attempting to steal glances at the immortal soul. Whisked away by the symphony of her voice, I could only stare in awe at the presence which befell me. Not only had she the sweetest voice amongst angels, but the contrasting light which soaked her skin revealed an incomparable beauty. This is how I inevitably arrived at the thought of how beautiful life is through cellophane...
Kind Regards,
Kyla Woods
