LaVey & Satan

On a Saturday night, LeVey would see men lusting after half naked girls dancing at a carnival, and on Sunday morning, when playing his organ fir tent-show evaneglists at the other end of the carnival lot, he would see these same men sitting in the pews with their wives and children asking God to forgive them and purge them of their carnal desires - next Saturday night they would be back at the carnival or some other place of indulgence. This is when LeVey became aware that Christian church thrives on hypocrisy, and that man's carnal nature will out no matter how much it is purged or scourged by any white-light religion.

So the birth of an antithesis of Christianity was conceived.

Satanic weddings consecrating the joys of flesh, funerals devoid of sanctimonious platitude, lust rituals to help individuals attain their sexual desires, destruction rituals to enable members of the Satanic church to triumph over enemies - all of which form a mockery to positive forms of celebration. The positive forms of celebrations such as birth days. How absurd, to celebrate the day in which one was born and the passing of age - is it an occasion to praise the accomplishment of living - the definition of living is dependent on the answer to such a question.

Living:- possessing life

Possessing life. Glorious life. It is easier to look at it this way- a gun is centered at the temple of your head, you know that the gun is loaded and the trigger is ready, but are unsure of when the execution of the bullet will occur.

Two choices:
1. Sit and wait, silently, responsibly, safely treading.
2. Experience as much as possible before convicting to inevitability.
