In Patagonia (Chile), the Baker and Pascua river aid in regulating the temperature of the rainforest, estuaries and marine ecosystems - this film explores the controversial proposal to build 5 hydroelectric dams on these two river systems. Patagonia Rising is directed by Brian Lilla, a Californian filmmaker, whose recent works include Tale of Two Bondage Models, 20 to Life and Ghetto Fabulous.
